Privacy Policy

Overview

Continuum is a responsibility and handoff management app built by Continuum Digital. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. We collect only what is necessary to provide the service and never sell your data.

Information we collect

When you create an account or use Continuum, we collect:

• Your email address, used solely to send you sign-in links and account-related notices
• Content you create within the app — situations, decisions, actions, risks, handoffs, and notes
• Space membership information when you create or join a shared space
• Basic usage data such as when you signed in or synced data, used to maintain your account

We do not collect your name unless you choose to provide a display name. We do not collect payment information directly — payments are handled by Apple through in-app purchase.

How we use your information

• To authenticate you via magic link sign-in
• To store and sync your situations across your devices
• To share situations with other members of a space you belong to
• To send your situation content to the Anthropic Claude API when you request an AI Check — this is always user-initiated, never automatic
• To send transactional emails such as magic links through our email provider, Resend

AI Check

When you request an AI Check on a situation, the content of that situation is sent to the Anthropic Claude API for analysis. Anthropic processes this data to generate the response. We do not store your situation content on Anthropic's systems beyond what is required to complete the request. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to data processed through their API.

AI Checks are always initiated by you. Continuum never sends your data to the AI automatically or in the background.

Data storage

Your data is stored in two places:

• Locally on your device using your device's storage
• In the cloud using Supabase, a managed database platform with servers located in the United States

By using Continuum with cloud sync enabled, you consent to your data being stored on Supabase infrastructure. Supabase's privacy policy applies to data stored on their platform.

Shared spaces

If you create or join a shared space, situations you add to that space are visible to other members. You control which situations belong to a shared space. Removing a situation from a space or leaving a space does not automatically delete your content.

Third-party services

Continuum uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and cloud sync
• Anthropic — AI analysis via Claude API, only when you request an AI Check
• Resend — transactional email delivery for magic links
• Apple — in-app purchase and subscription management

We do not use advertising networks, analytics trackers, or sell data to any third party.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete all your data at any time from within the app using the Reset Data option in Settings. This removes your situations from both local storage and our cloud database.

To permanently delete your account and all associated data, contact us at privacy@usecontinuum.ca. We will complete deletion within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. Canadian users have rights under PIPEDA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@usecontinuum.ca.

Children

Continuum is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Continuum after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
